We had such a great day yesturday! We decided to go to the Valley of Fire for Michael's birthday because there are so many great places around St George we thought we'd take advantage of that while we are here. So we hiked around those amazing red rocks which got us so excited about going to all the other places around here. Emma had a blast and I think we have the makings of a future rock climbing fanatic. These pictures don't really do the area justice. Also the pictures of the Native American petroglyphs I took don't really show what they looked like so I didn't bother to post them.
My favorite part was driving through the beginning of the park wondering why on earth it is called the valley of fire and BAM there were these bright red rocks, randomly placed around the desert sagebrush. It was crazy! If you ever get a chance to at least drive through the Valley of Fire do so because it is absolutely beautiful.

That looks like it was SO much fun! Next time we come down to visit, lets go do that. :) Isn't it great that you guys are down there hiking, and we're up here... still shovelling snow! Gotta love it! Give your cute kids a kiss on the noggin for me.
